Michael Vick Injury: Star QB Will Play but Fantasy Owners Must Sit Him
Michael Vick is going to play on Sunday. This tweet is one of many that is basically saying in no uncertain terms that Vick will be good to go against the Giants.

But from a fantasy perspective, is he a good play? Remember that the Eagles be conservative with him. He'll still move around well, but he won't get the typical running back points that you normally get from Vick.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So, considering that, is Vick a good enough passer to be a good fantasy play for you on Sunday? He's not a bad passer, but he's never been known for his prolific passing ability.
Also, a part of being conservative means that they will not want him in the pocket for long periods of time. They don't want him taking hit, so a lot of the big plays that were used to seeing Vick make won't be there.
So, consider all of those when weighing your options. But that's not the only thing to consider.
Have you noticed how many prolific passing games we've seen in the NFL this season? If you have been following the first two weeks of football, then you certainly have.
There are plenty of quarterbacks out there who are capable of racking up big points for you.
Even if I am wrong about Vick and he has a huge day, there are no shortage of options out there to play that will help you cut your losses.
Check your league's waiver wire out.
If someone is sitting at 500 or more passing yards, they're probably a good bet for another decent week. The numbers will eventually come down, but that's not something that will happen for a while.
When the weather gets cooler, teams don't pass as much. Also, the defenses are having a hard time adjusting to all of the new rules. That will eventually even out.
But in the last week of September and third week of the season, offensive production isn't likely to fall off.
Don't take the chance on Vick in Week 3. I get that he's a big-point producer, but his fantasy production is going to be at risk this week.
The reward is big, but not when you compare it to what other options can give you.
