Week 3 Fantasy Football Projections: 3 Running Backs Worth the Risk
Week 3 of the fantasy football schedule is one of the most important of the season, especially with the bye weeks coming faster than anyone really anticipated.
Wins are going to be hard to come by this season, and it’s essential that you maximize your wins before you get to the nitty gritty of the season.
These three running backs are all surrounded by some sort of question, but they all deserve a start because of their stellar track record and stellar abilities.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Peyton Hillis—While Hillis hasn’t had much luck getting loose this season, running for just 151 yards on 44 attempts with a touchdown, he has remained a big part of the Browns passing offense.
With a Miami Dolphins defense that has trouble against the pass and the rush, expect a ton of Peyton Hillis on the ground and through the air.
Darren McFadden—Any questions about Darren McFadden’s abilities to be a premiere running back in the NFL have been answered by his 42 rushing attempts for 222 yards and a touchdown, as well as his eight catches for 77 yards and another touchdown.
The matchup against the New York Jets has experts telling you to bench the star, but no matter how good the defense is, McFadden will get his points, one way or another.
Frank Gore—While the Cincinnati Bengals aren’t the best team to break your toughing running streak on, Frank Gore and the San Francisco 49ers will give the Bengals defense fits.
The willingness of Jim Harbaugh to open up the pass game a bit will alleviate some of the trouble Gore is facing, and open up the field for Gore's big-play ability.
