Week 4 College Football Predictions: 3 Top 25 Teams That Will Lose in Week 4
Now that we are three weeks into the college football season, it's time for the big contenders to start emerging from the field.
Every week we see a couple teams in the Top 25 stumble and fall, sometimes out of the rankings.
Week 4 will be no exception.
Here are three Top 25 teams that will lose their Week 4 games.
Michigan Wolverines
This week, Michigan is on upset alert against Brady Hoke's former team, the San Diego State Aztecs.
This will be a game where defense is not an option. If both teams don't finish with at least 40 points I would be shocked.
Everybody knows the explosive offense that Michigan has with Denard Robinson, but very few know about the one in San Diego State.
Ryan Lindley is one of the top quarterbacks in the nation. Next year, you will likely see him on Sundays.
Ronnie Hillman may be the best running back in the country. As a freshman he broke almost all of Marshall Faulk's rushing records at the university.
He is off to a fast start again this year, rushing for 497 yards and eight touchdowns in only three games.
West Virginia Mountaineers
Geno Smith and the West Virginia offense have looked great so far this season, but this is no average defense they are facing in week four.
Expect LSU to have one of their typical games against West Virginia.
The defense will make plays and create turnovers setting up the offense to score just enough points to walk away with a win.
It would be a treat to see West Virginia knock off the Tigers, but it's just unlikely with how stacked the LSU team is.
Clemson Tigers
Clemson has faced some really cupcake defenses so far this year compared to what they will be up against this weekend.
The Florida State Seminoles look to bounce back after a tough loss against Oklahoma. This is going to be a statement game for them.
The Seminoles are looking to stay in the hunt for a National Championship and they know one way to do it will be with a convincing win over the Tigers.
It will be all business come Saturday, and this one should be a solid victory for Florida State.
