Week 4 College Football Picks: 3 Underdogs That Will Cover the Spread
These lines will not hold.
Saturday gives us three games we should be suspicious of. Whether it be shoddy play on the side of the favorite, or a surging underdog, the spread will be covered in what should be some exciting games.
You can never take anything for granted in college football. The next few selections are as close as you will come.
We have dissected the matchups and come to the stark realization that the underdogs are not as bad as the lines would have you think.
Don't be afraid to take a chance on some otherwise middling teams. The good people in Vegas have done you a favor in giving these programs a handicap that will be utilized to the fullest.
Here are three games in which the underdogs will cover the spread.

Nebraska at Wyoming: Nebraska -21
It is nice to think that Nebraska has it all figured out. They have two things going against them on Saturday. Both have me hopeful that Wyoming will lose, but not by the three-touchdown margin that is posted.
For one, Wyoming can score. Brett Smith has not played like a freshman as he has 797 yards thrown and five touchdowns.
Second, Nebraska could be in danger of overlooking Wyoming to next week's key matchup with Wisconsin. The mental apathy and a shaky Husker defense will Nebraska winning by a margin closer to 15 points.
Arkansas at Alabama: Alabama -11
This is going to be a muddied up defensive contest. Both teams are stingy on the other side of the ball, yielding what will be a low scoring affair.
Neither is susceptible to the big play. I see Alabama winning, but by a much narrower margin that will have us glued to our seats.
Georgia at Ole Miss: Georgia -10
This game may be better viewed with the TV in the off position. Both teams have been playing lackluster ball.
However, this will be a bounce back game for Zack Stoudt who was atrocious against Vanderbilt. I also have confidence that Houston Nutt will pull out all the stops to save his rear end.
This will be an emotional game between two teams trying to prove their competency. It will be closer than the 10-spot given.
