""
According to a press release from the executive producers of HBO, the Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz fight will replay on SATURDAY, SEPT. 24 at 9:45 p.m. (ET/ PT), exclusively on HBO.
Undefeated American superstar Floyd Mayweather defeated Victor Ortiz by a shocking controversial 4th-round knockout that still has everyone talking and debating about it.
"For the first time, the exclusive HBO replay will include previously unseen bonus footage, which was shot in Las Vegas by the Emmy-Award®-winning “24/7” production team during fight week. The “24/7” cameras were rolling during the weigh-in, fight day preparations and in the locker-rooms after the fight.
Other HBO playdates: Sept. 25 (9:00 a.m.) and 26 (11:15 p.m.)
HBO2 playdates: Sept. 25 (7:30 p.m.) and 27 (midnight)
"
For those of you who have not seen the fight, Saturday will be your chance to see what everyone is talking about. The replay will be in HDTV, and the HBO sports commentator team that was live ringside in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand will call the fight.
Watch the replay and determine your thoughts on what exactly went down that night.
Was Victor Ortiz to blame for headbutting and starting off the dirty tactics in the ring and then disobeying the number 1 rule in boxing of protecting yourself at all times?
Was Mayweather wrong for taking a cheap shot at Ortiz when Ortiz was apologizing and had his hands down?
Was Joe Cortez wrong for not properly stopping the fight or separating the two fighters far enough to neutral corners, and for not making them touch gloves and then properly calling the fight to continue?
Or are they all to blame? Or should there be no blame or shame in this fight?
