WWE News: WWE Working on Reality Cooking Show Featuring a Very Big Superstar?
You read that right.
WWE is so insistent on becoming a global entertainment brand, beyond just pro-wrestling parameters, it has now set its sights on developing a new show highlighting one very recognizable superstar outside the ring. And by saying outside the ring, I don't mean a few feet or even a kilometer or two away; rather, hundreds if not thousands of miles away.
A WWE survey on WWE's research website is testing the waters for a reality cooking show featuring the Big Show, his wife, Bess Wight, and their kitchen (and countertops). The questionnaire is asking fans to rate how interested they would be to watch the Big Show, a very gargantuan man obviously, with a presumably even bigger appetite, be handsomely fed by his wife, a sultry woman and kitchen queen.

If this were to come to fruition, viewers will seemingly be satiated with images of Bess Wight erotically firing up pots and pans, handling meats and vegetables with precision and fairy-dusting a blend of esoteric spices onto her culinary creations as the Big Show sits with bated breath at the kitchen table, incessantly smelling what his wife is cooking. And that would only be the first course.
Of course the Big Show will be seen in action, as well, but not the kind of action fans are normally accustomed to. He would be ravenously and rapaciously ravaging the contents of his plate, in the company of his friends who will be fortunate enough to share in the Big Show's palate of pleasures.
It would be fair to assume that this reality cooking show, if it were to happen, would be one of many new programs to be scheduled on the new WWE Network. Granted, there's nothing inherently wrong with striving to be a versatile brand featuring a variety of shows, but the WWE should be wary of endeavoring non-wrestling projects when so many attempts in the past have been less than fruitful.
