Mayweather vs. Pacquiao: Mayweather's Cheap Shot Enhances Appeal of Dream Bout

Floyd Mayweather’s "cheap shot" on Victor Ortiz has greatly enhanced the appeal of the only match we all already want to see in Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao.

I didn’t think it would be possible to want to see this match even more than I already did, but Mayweather’s controversial finish with Ortiz did just that.

I already considered Mayweather the sports world’s greatest villain, but he further cemented himself. Considering the allegiance of fans behind Pacquiao, this dream bout is the ultimate good vs. evil showdown.

The atmosphere, intensity and magnitude of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao would never be matched again in our lifetime. It has only been amplified by everybody’s desire to see the cocky and unforgiving Mayweather get knocked out.

At this point, everyone just wants to see Mayweather get hit, but mainly by Pac-Man. We want to see Pac-Man put little dollar signs in "Money’s" eyes when he’s daydreaming on the mat.

Pac-Man is officially the savior of boxing, while Mayweather is a villainous snake everyone wants to see exiled from the garden.

Mayweather shunning Ortiz with his KO has put him back on top of the sports world. Everyone is talking about him and itching to see him get inside the squared circle immediately.

While everyone would pay to see Mayweather vs. Ortiz II, there isn’t anybody else worthy enough to step to "Money." The only man worthy is the only man who has been on the tip of our tongues for years.

We’ve seen that Mayweather is willing to go to any extent to remain victorious. Would he be able to pull off similar shenanigans against Pacquiao? Not at all, which is why we desperately want to see them step in the ring together now more than ever.

We know Pacquiao won’t fall for anything Mayweather is willing to stoop to and stands the best chance to break down his defensive barricade.

Pac-Man is the only man who can avenge the controversial finish in the eyes of the fans, which has pushed our dream bout to the top of our "wish-list" even further than we could have ever imagined.
