Fantasy Football's Week 13 Waiver-Wire Pickups
By Garth Gregor
Fantasy Football's Week 13 Waiver Wire pickups are here! The wire picks are players who are or were still available in most leagues this week. Depending on how your waiver wire/free agents’ pool works, players may not clear waivers until later this week.
Instead, these players should be monitored or stashed away on your bench for a playoff run or potential upside due to matchup problems.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
QUARTERBACKS
Tyler Thigpen - Make that five straight solid games and eight touchdown passes in his last three. In Week 13 he plays a very beatable Oakland Raiders team. He's available in 32 percent of ESPN leagues.
Chad Pennington - Should still be on fantasy radar as he faces the St. Louis Rams in Week 13. He is coming off several mediocre games but passed for 341 and three touchdowns in Week 12. He is available in 18 percent of ESPN leagues and faces San Francisco and Kansas City during Week 15 and 16 of the fantasy playoffs.
Shaun Hill - Another solid Week 12 quarterback, passed for 300+, and plays in a passing offense. He plays St. Louis in week 16 playoffs and should have improved nicely by then so consider a bench spot for him. Available in 75% of ESPN leagues.
RUNNING BACKS
Le'Ron McClain - If you want to gamble on a shared backfield, McClain's matchup against the Bengals this week looks OK. He produced against the Eagle's and has scored a touchdown in three of his last four games. McClain is available in 58 percent of ESPN leagues.
Carnell Williams - In just his first game back, Tampa Bay fed him the ball 16 times against the Lions. He did next to nothing with them but with Earnest Graham out for the season, and Warrick Dunn's age, Williams could get back to game speed. Sit him on your bench and see if he improves. He is available in 64 percent of ESPN leagues.
Darren McFadden - Some owners have given up on DMAC leaving him available in 20% of ESPN leagues. This was likely just before his two touchdown outburst against the Broncos. If he is not on your waiver wire, look for Pierre Thomas (available in 65 percent of ESPN leagues) and/or Derrick Ward (available in 29 percent of ESPN leagues).
You will have to monitor Reggie Bush and Brandon Jacobs on injury reports this week as both will likely be game time decisions.
WIDE RECEIVERS
Ted Ginn Jr. - Another great game with five catches for 88 yards against the Patriots. Greg Camarillo is out for the season with a knee injury so he and Davone Bess will see most of the action.
Ginn is available in 36 percent of ESPN leagues and Bess is available in all of them. If you are desperate, rookie Bess was the superstar receiver for Hawaii last year and matched Ginn with five catches for 87 yards in week 12...
