WWE: The Real Tough Guy Tournament
Watching the WWE product over the last couple years, we've seen guys like Rey Mysterio drop guys like the Big Show and The Great Khali, and we've loved every minute of it. Everyone around the world loves the underdog story, but for me it's getting overused. No one is afraid of anyone anymore. Fear can add more to a storyline, and knowing that you just can't beat someone adds more tension.
So watching the product the WWE is putting out there, I got to wondering, who do you think is the toughest wrestler in the last decade?
This isn't an amateur wrestling competition, this is a face-to-face fight. If these guys really beat the hell out of each other, used the chairs and tables and fought each other for real, who would win.
The match type is a last man standing match. The two guys fighting in the ring would really fight until the other guy couldn't get up. Who would win?
So I introduce to you "The Real Tough Guy Tournament." I've created a 64-man tournament with the wrestlers of today's WWE and some of the biggest stars from earlier in the decade. You will see guys like Stone Cold, Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, Mr. Kennedy, and also guys like Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and all the best and worst in between.
The winner will be strictly put together by your votes. I will count them at the end of each week and continue on until there is one man standing, The Toughest Guy in The WWE.
The top seeds are the guys that were arguably the biggest superstars of the last decade, so expect guys like The Rock, Cena, Orton, Hogan, HHH, Batista to be at the top, and the lower seeds will be randomly thrown together with the rest. They are split up into four different regions, just like March madness.
