Minnesota Vikings: Is Leslie Frazier, Brad Childress Version 2.0?
Maybe I’m being harsh on Leslie Frazier, but after watching the way the Vikings have been manhandled in the second half of both games this year, it’s not hard to imagine that Chilly himself was coming up with the halftime adjustments.
I know they have faced teams that were on the brink of the playoffs last year, going a combined 19-13, but that is no excuse for the way they let two possible victories slip through their fingers.
Perhaps equally as frustrating is the fact that Percy Harvin is playing in a little over half of the offensive snaps. This is a team that is starving for playmakers and the secondary-option is sitting on the sidelines.

What’s worse is Frazier is okay with it. "It’s just a matter of our using his strengths to our greatest advantage, to our team’s advantage and picking out spots when we do that," said Frazier (via ESPN) when discussing Harvin’s role.
Hello, one of his strengths isn’t sitting on the sidelines watching the Vikings’ sorry collection of wide receivers and tight ends trying to get in the end zone.
Harvin isn’t being used in red-zone packages. I know his size isn’t ideal for the red zone, but his quickness can be an advantage in such a tight space. His ability to break tackles and his versatility on offense also come into play.
As a fantasy guy, I had high-expectations coming into the season for Percy Harvin. I figured with Chilly gone, the team would finally start getting creative with Percy. I guess I underestimated the amount of Brad Childress that Frazier would carry with him.
