Packers vs. Bears: TV Schedule, Radio, Game Time and More

Michael DixonSep 21, 2011

One of the NFL's oldest rivalries will resume on Sunday when the Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago Bears.

In addition to being a great rivalry, this is also a rematch of last season's NFC Championship Game. The Packers beat the Bears 21-14 in Chicago last season on their way to winning the Super Bowl.

The Packers sit atop the NFC North in a tie with Detroit at 2-0. The Bears opened their season with a big win over the Falcons, but lost in New Orleans in Week 2.

Over/Under

The over/under of 46 really depends on who you think is going to win this game.

If the Packers win, they probably got their offense going. In which case, 46 is manageable.

If the Bears win, it probably means that Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' offense was kept in check. In that case, 46 isn't too likely.

I'll go with the over here, but I am not terribly confident in it.

Spread

Packers (-4). Again, this game could go either way. If you are think the four-point favorite will win the game, then you pretty much have to pick them to cover.

I'll go with that logic here and say to take the Packers. Again, this is a pretty evenly matched contest.

Key Injuries

Packers' TE Jermichael Finley (ankle) is probable.

Packers' CB Charles Woodson (foot), CB Tramon Williams (shoulder), LB Clay Mathews (quad) and DE Ryan Pickett (foot) are questionable.

Packers' S Nick Collins is out for the season.

Bears' WR Earl Bennett (chest), WR Roy Williams (groin), RB Marion Barber (calf) and S Major Wright are questionable.

Bears' OT Gabe Carimi is questionable.

Fantasy Big Plays

Given the injuries to the Packers' secondary, Bears' QB Jay Cutler is not a bad play. There are a lot of issues with Cutler, but the yards will likely be there.

Greg Jennings is an obvious, but look to Jordy Nelson. With the injury to Wright, a big day from Rodgers is quite likely. Jennings and Finley won't be his only targets.

Keys to Packers' Win

Control the ball. More than anything, the Packers can't give the Bears a long field. They are hurting offensively and will have a hard time sustaining long drives.

Keys to Bears' Win

Shutting Aaron Rodgers down isn't likely. But they need to contain him and the Green Bay offense.

Prediction

Again, this is a close game. Anything can happen with these rivals. Still, I like the Packers to come through in this one.
