Rex Grossman Says Washington Redskins Receiving Corps Is Tops
Rex Grossman is doing his best Rex Ryan impersonation again. Before the season started, he predicted the Washington Redskins would win the NFC East; today Rex said Washington's receiving corps is the best in the league.
“This is the best wide receiving corps in the league in my opinion, from top to bottom," Grossman said, according to Redskins beat reporter Grant Paulsen.
Is he right?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Who cares? That isn’t the point. Rex Ryan was not right when he claimed two Super Bowl championships for his team. What he was, however, was confident. So is Rex Grossman.
Confidence is perhaps the biggest thing the Washington Redskins have lacked since Joe Gibbs' second retirement. Confidence from the front office, coaches and players have all been noticeably missing from the organization—but not anymore.
This year we have a quarterback who puts himself in front of the national media and tells them that the Redskins are great. Better than anyone knows. Better than their division rivals. Best in the NFL.
He does not have to be right—all he has to do is believe it. Make no mistake about it, the difference between losing to the Arizona Cardinals and beating them was confidence and belief. Last year, Arizona would have been 2-0 and the Redskins would be entering a divisional game versus the Dallas Cowboys after a demoralizing loss.
Instead, our on-field leader is—gasp—acting like an on-field leader! He is part of a new Redskins team that believes in themselves and each other. After all, Rex did not say the Redskins had the best quarterback in the NFL, did he?
Nope—he was talking about his receivers. There will be a ton of attention given to his statement today, and most of it will be negative. The reason for this is because the Redskins were just an afterthought before preseason began, and people do not like to be proved wrong in their predictions.
Well, the Redskins are proving everybody in the entire industry wrong.
And at least their quarterback isn’t afraid to say so.
