NFL Picks Week 3: Which Games Will Be Decided by More Than 10 Points?

Chris TrapassoJun 7, 2018

Even a league filled with parity we're bound to see some blowouts.

Week 3 will gives us a few.

Some teams match up very closely while other teams have many distinct advantages over their opponent and should cruise to victory.

You never know in the NFL, but these clubs should have no trouble this week.

Carolina Panthers

I know, it sounds crazy, but I think Cam Newton and his Panthers could really take it to the Jaguars at home this week.

We've seen outstanding statistical performances from Newton in his first two games but he has yet to translate 400-yards through the air to a win.

He'll go over 300 this week and will be more careful with the football.

The defense isn't facing a very threatening offense and rookie Blaine Gabbert is making his professional debut.

I could see Carolina winning by two touchdowns in this one.

San Diego Chargers

We saw how competitive the Chargers were against the Patriots last week and we are fully aware of the current state of the Kansas City Chiefs.

KC travels to San Diego this week and it won't be pretty.

Philip Rivers is playing fantastic football and the Chiefs are without Eric Berry and Jamaal Charles.

I can see San Diego's starters sitting late in the fourth quarter.

Baltimore Ravens

The Rams aren't as bad as their 0-2 record indicates, but they face a Ravens team fresh off a humiliating loss at the hands of the Titans.

Sam Bradford should be able to move the ball down the field, but Baltimore's blitzes should give a young offensive line problems for most of the afternoon.

St. Louis' defense is underrated but Joe Flacco and Ray Rice should get back into a groove and expect Anquan Boldin to bounce back from a poor showing against Tennessee.
