Te-Huna easily defends a takedown and rocks Romero with a right hand. Romero is telegraphing his takedowns. Te-Huna easily stuffs another double leg attempt and blasts Romero with a right hand.

Romero is out on his knees. That's all she wrote.

Takeya Mizugaki vs. Cole Escovedo

Round 1

Mizugaki is pressing the action early. Escovedo lands a strong knee to the body, though. Mizugaki presses Escovedo against the cage with little more than three minutes left in the round.

Mizugaki lands some big shots and secures a takedown with a body lock. Escovedo pushes Mizugaki off and attempts a flying triangle.

Mizugaki defends, but he's eating knees to the body against the fence. Mizugaki answers with uppercuts, but Escovedo rocks his opponent with an elbow. Mizugaki recovers and finishes the round with a body shot.

Round 2

Mizugaki catches a kick and tosses Escovedo to the canvas. Mizugaki is looking to keep distance in this round. Escovedo lands a head kick, but Mizugaki walks through it.

Mizugaki lands a left hook to the body and backs Escovedo up with a right hand. Mizugaki rocks Escovedeo with a left hook and starts to unload.

Mizugaki drops Escovedo with another left hook. Escovedo regains his feet, but another left hook puts an end to the fight.

Mizugaki defeats Escovedo by technical knockout (punch) at 4:30 of the second round.

Junior Assuncao vs. Eddie Yagin

Round 1

After a slow start, Assuncao secures a takedown two minutes into the bout. Assuncao stacks Yagin and lands a couple hard left hands.

Yagin escapes with less than two minutes remaining in the round. Assuncao ducks a punch and secures another takedown.

Round 2

Assuncao secures a takedown and takes Yagin's back. Yagin escapes quickly, though.

After a long period of inactivity, Assuncao shoots in for a double leg takedown. Yagin jumps on a guillotine choke attempts, but Assuncao fights it off after wagging his finger in the air.

Round 3

Yagin stuffs a takedown attempt and takes the top position. Assuncao uses the butterfly guard to escape, though.

Assuncao fights off another guillotine choke and starts to works some ground and pound from the half guard. Assuncao works for the finish, but Yagin survives to the end of the fight.

Nick Ring vs. Tim Boetsch

Round 1

Ring catches a kick and tosses Boetsch to the ground. Ring secures a front headlock, but he doesn't do anything with it. Boetsch stands with less than three minutes left in the round.

Boetsch found some success towards the end of the round by moving forward and landing his right hand. Close round with little to score.

Round 2

Boetsch cuts Ring off and lands a right hook, which he follows up with an uppercut. Boetsch hurts Ring with another right hand. 

Boetsch catches a knee and slams Ring. Ring stands, but Boetsch attempts a guillotine choke. Ring fights it off.

Boetsch stands and clips Ring with a left hook. Boetsch backs Ring up with a left hand and secures a takedown. "The Barbarian" looks for a kimura, but the round comes to an end.

B/R scores the round 10-9 Boetsch (20-18 Boetsch).

Round 3

Boetsch secures a trip takedown midway through the round, but doesn't do much with it. After a referee stand-up, Boetsch hit a beautiful hip toss and lands in the crucifix position.

Great finish to the fight for Boetsch, and he should take the decision.

Riley lands a head kick. Ferguson fires back with inside leg kicks. Ferguson catches a head kick and sends Riley somersaulting.

Ferguson hurts Riley with a lead uppercut. Ferguson is stalking, and Riley is bleeding from his mouth. Riley's jaw is broken, which leads to the end of the fight

Nate Diaz vs. Takanori Gomi

Round 1

Diaz buckles Gomi with a straight left. Diaz eats a body shot and fires back with a right hook. Diaz is picking Gomi apart. He drops the Japanese fighter and takes his back.

Gomi escapes and takes Diaz down. Diaz attacks with a triangle choke attempt. He switches to an armbar for the finish.

Diaz defeats Gomi by submission (armbar) at 4:27 of the first round.

Travis Browne vs. Rob Broughton

Round 1

Browne is scoring with leg kicks early in this fight. A left hook backs up Broughton, but the Englishman recovers. Browne ducks a punch and takes the fight to the ground with a single leg.

Round 2

Browne continues to chop at the legs of Broughton. Browne presses forward with a combination and lands knees from the clinch.

Again, Browne scores a takedown in the final minute of the round. Browne moves to mount and takes Broughton's back as the round comes to an end.

Hunt lands a leg kick early in the second round. Rothwell answers with a right hand, but he has a takedown stuffed by Hunt.

Hunt moves to side control. Rothwell looks exhausted as Hunt attempts an armbar at the end of the round.

Hunt is looking to secure a crucifix. He is barely keeping any pressure on Rothwell, but Rothwell is too tired to stand up.

Hunt lands an uppercut after a referee stand-up. Hunt shoots in for a takedown, but Rothwell defends and ends the fight in Hunt's half guard.

Hughes is targeting the previously-injured eye of Koscheck. Koscheck's eye is swelling already. Hughes lands an uppercut.

Hughes stuffs a takedown attempt from Koscheck. Koscheck hurts Hughes with a right and pours it on. As the round comes to an end, Koscheck puts Hughes away with ground and pound.

Koscheck defeats Hughes by knockout (punches) at 4:59 of the first round.

Jon Jones vs. Quinton Jackson

Round 1

Jones comes on in a low wrestling stance. He shoots in for a takedown, but Jackson defends and the fighter jostle for position against the fence.

Jones lands an inside leg kick and looks for a trip takedown, but Jackson stays on his feet. Jones attempts a spinning elbow against the cage, but Jackson blocks it.

Jackson presses forward as the round comes to an end, but he loses the round.

B/R scores the round 10-9 Jones.

Round 2

Jackson ducks a spinning elbow. Jones lands a straight left shortly after, though. Jones is landing some slapping leg kicks in this round.

Jackson's head movement has been excellent, but he needs to find a way to close the distance. Jones attempts a flying triangle from the clinch at the end of the round, but there's not enough time remaining.

Round 3

Jackson lands an inside leg kick. Jones returns the favor and secures a single leg takedown. The champion mounts the challenger and opens a cut with an elbow.
