NFL Predictions Week 3: Which Pass-Rushers Will Rack Up Most Sacks?
Where's the defense?
With the offensive explosions across the NFL landscape in the league's first two weeks, it's time some defenders step up and show their worth.
Teams have had a ridiculous amount of success through the air, but there are a few defensive ends and linebackers that can put a halt to that by applying some pressure to the quarterback.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Getting into the opposing signal-caller's face and forcing him to make quick decisions is the most efficient way to stop an offense and sacks are momentum-shifting plays that can sometimes be the difference between a win and a loss.
These defensive stars should have big Week 3's...
Clay Matthews
When doesn't this guy have a huge week, right?
Against the Bears, Matthews should be especially ferocious.
We've seen that Jay Cutler often holds onto the ball for too long in the pocket and Chicago's offensive line has been it's weak link after two games.
Expect Dom Capers to send more exotic blitz packages Cutler's way with Matthews spearheading the attack.
Overall, I think Green Bay will feast on Chicago's offensive front and other players could be in for multiple-sack afternoons.
Dwight Freeney
It looks like the Colts, both on offense and defense, are down this year, but that doesn't mean veteran pass-rusher Dwight Freeney is letting up.
Pittsburgh is very balanced on offense, but similar to the Bears, their tackle position is often victimized on Sunday.
Every tackle knows they're going to get Freeney's patented spin move, but it has so much blistering speed it's rarely stopped.
Ben Roethlisberger is tremendous at avoiding the rush and scrambling out of the pocket, but expect Freeney to get into the backfield and do some damage this week.
Terrell Suggs
The Rams will be looking to shore up the offensive line struggles they had against the assailing New York Giants on Monday night, but it won't be an easy task against the Ravens in Week 3.
Rodger Saffold is making his name as a solid tackle, but Terrell Suggs will move to both sides of the line to create mismatches pre-snap.
With the variety of blitzes they'll employ on St. Louis, Suggs should get a few open runs at Bradford, which could lead to a multiple-sack day for the terrorizing hybrid linebacker.
