TNA: 8 Reasons Why the Knockouts Tournament Is a Great Idea

Although I cannot stand Karen Jarrett (well, actually, I like her, but can't stand to listen to her), the idea of the Knockout's Tournament (Queen's Qualifier) to determine the No. 1 contender for the Knockout's Title is a stroke of brilliance.

Since TNA did such a good job with the Bound for Glory Series, it only seems logical that the women in TNA now get the center stage and show off their talents in a way that not only promotes their division but also creates more quality matches on Impact.

And since there are so many twists and turns that happen each week on the small screen, this is a good thing.

And of course, this means my friend, Charlie Groenewegen, will be very happy.

8. It Could Lead to Tension Between Winter and Angelina Love

Oh, the marriage of these two could be on some shaky ice.

Winter was at ringside when Velvet Sky beat Angelina Love and the two collided, causing Angelina Love to lose the match.

What does that mean to the two women connected at the hip?

We shall see if there are still strong feelings of commitment from these two.

7. It Means We See Madison Rayne and Karen Jarrett Play More Kiss Ass

No one in the Knockout's Division is more of a suck up than Madison Rayne (sorry, Charlie).

Madison will use her cute smile and her charm to try and weasel her way into the top spot for the title.

Hopefully (and I hate saying this), Karen will see this and ultimately stop Madison in the end from becoming the champion.

6. There Could Be Outside Influence

Remember, there are six knockouts involved in this tournament, with the three finalists meeting at Bound For Glory. There are 10 knockouts in the division.

What does this say for wrestlers like Jackie or ODB?

Sarita and Rosita may have something to say about this as well.

5. Anything with Velvet Sky in It Is a GOOD Thing

Just like Charlie thinks Madison is the one, I am holding out hope Velvet finally gets the gold.

A feud with Mickie James would be good as well. The cutesy stuff gets stale from time to time.

And Mickie seems primed for a heel change lately.

Just a thought.

4. You Know Brooke Tessmacher Is the Underdog

All the more reason to root for her.

And on a serious note, Brooke has improved her wrestling 10-fold since she became a regular in the ring.

Working with Tara has really helped her improve in all "areas" of her game.

3. It Means We Could See Tara in the Final

Tara is so underrated in this division.

While others get much of the accolades, Tara goes out there and performs well and shows that she can wrestle. She is just as powerful as an ODB and just as skilled as a Winter on the mat.

A solid choice to win the title.

2. We May See Velvet Sky Win the Title with Angelina Love's Help

This is a long shot.

But if Winter continues to control a more aware Angelina Love, it could backfire on Winter in a title match.

There could be a reunion of sorts between the Beautiful People.

1. This Leads to a Feud Between Karen Jarrett and Traci Brooks

And nothing could be finer than seeing Ms. Brooks in action with the VP of the Knockouts Division on the line.

Brooks was done wrong by Jarrett and Eric Bischoff.

There is karma and payback on the horizon.
