Green Bay Packers: Are Aaron Rodgers and Company Still the Class of the NFL?
Everyone saw what the Packers were able to do to the Saints, just a couple of weeks ago, on Thursday night football. Anyone that has to play the Packers is surely cringing right now. Granted, they had their struggles against the Panthers, but they ended up coming back to win that game. Good teams, of course, will do anything to win. The Packers did just that.
Green Bay looked like world beaters in that first game and have made it look as if they could run the tables in the NFL this season.
The New Orleans Saints are no slouch, either, which makes that win much more significant. It’s always very difficult to defend against the Saints' powerful offense (New Orleans did end up hanging 34 points on them) but the Packers managed to do it.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Green Bay look like they are going to be tough to beat.
Even though the Panthers weren’t picked to win too many games this season, they have had a stronger than expected start to the season.
The Packers are fortunate enough to have not had a heavy turnover this past offseason. Some of it can be attributed to the lockout (and the lack of action during the offseason) but they also didn’t have a lot of holes to fill. This is a team that were getting several players off injured reserve from last year and had a good enough draft to avoid having to do much in free agency.
Not having to worry about bringing in a bunch of new players makes things easier for the Packers.
Can Green Bay repeat their success from last year and perhaps do even better than they did in last year's regular season? What they struggled with last year was health. They put a lot of people on injured reserve in 2010 and it affected their performance during the regular season.
Now that these players are healthy, the Packers are again one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL.
It’s hard to find anyone that wouldn’t think that the Packers could run the tables this season and have a year that ends up with a Super Bowl victory. This is a team that is well-put-together, well-coached and has the right players in the right places.
The only thing that could stop them would be some serious injuries to their key players—guys such as Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews. That might be just about the only thing that would stop them.
Simply put, the Packers are going to win a lot of games and will contend for the Super Bowl once again this year. Who can stop them? The most obvious choice is their most heated division rival, the Chicago Bears. The Bears have had success against the Packers in the past and could have that success this season. Can Lovie Smith and company bring the Packers down to earth?
Needless to say, it’s going to be another big year for the Packers.
