NFL Picks Week 3: Which Teams Will Lose at Home?
Ah, the storied home-field advantage. It's not a myth, you know. In 2010, the home team finished 143-113, and while not all of those wins and losses can be attributed to where the game was played, it certainly helps a team to take on a challenger on its home turf.
However, this week, three teams look primed to be upset in front of their hometown crowds, including one that benefits from one of the greatest home-field advantages in the league.
That would be the Oakland Raiders and the costumed masses who populate the Black Hole. However, with the New York Jets coming to town this week, the Raiders are at a disadvantage against a team that, on paper, looks far superior.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Jets excel at stopping the run, and they had no trouble dispatching Maurice Jones-Drew and the rest of the Jaguars offense in Week 2. While the Raiders are much better than Jacksonville in every way, it won't be enough to outplay the Jets.
Don't look for the Raiders to put up the kind of yardage or points they did last week against the Buffalo Bills. Instead, this contest should be lower-scoring (for both teams), and I see the Jets walking away with a 10-to-14-point win.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will also experience a loss at home this week, against formidable divisional opponent, the Atlanta Falcons.
The Falcons are coming off of a major win over the Philadelphia Eagles and are taking on a middling Buccaneers squad that can't seem to get much going on offense outside of their run game.
While this game will likely be closer than the other two mentioned here, I don't see Tampa being able to stop an Atlanta team with a not-insignificant amount of momentum at their backs.
The Indianapolis Colts don't have an advantage in any place they play. Home or away, they will likely struggle on their path to pick up their first win of the season. The Colts will have to look beyond this week's matchup against the Steelers to grab that elusive "W."
Much like the Seattle Seahawks last week, Indianapolis is suffering from a lack of production from both its offense and defense, and the Steelers will use these weaknesses to their advantage in another dominating win over a troubled team.
