NFL Power Rankings: What Do the Experts Say?
After Week 2 matchups wrapped up on Monday night, teams began to unfold their unknown identities to the football world.
That being said, everyone puts together their own version of the NFL's power rankings (including the author's rankings at the bottom of this article).

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So what exactly is he saying?
Well, let's break it all down.
Rankings No. 1-10
For the most part, the rankings are solid, but the San Diego Chargers at No. 5 is a bit of a stretch—their only win came at home against the No. 28 Minnesota Vikings. Had that Bolts won in New England, then No. 5 sounds a lot more realistic.
The Atlanta Falcons are also a few spots too high at No. 6, because right now the Philadelphia Eagles aren't playing like the juggernaut team they were anticipated to be.
Placing the Detroit Lions at No. 7, although bold, is also a few spots too high. Detroit won a big game on the road at Tampa Bay in Week 1, but then destroyed an already demoralized Kansas City team in Week 2.
Detroit is getting there, but they're not there just yet.
Rankings 11-20
At No. 11, the Buffalo Bills are definitely way too high. Although winning in Arrowhead Stadium in K.C. was big, the Chiefs have proven to be a very weak team without their best players.
And beating a Raiders team that doesn't know how to win outside the AFC West was expected. Buffalo is still solid, but not No. 11.
Moving on the Eagles, who dropped from No. 8 in Week 1 to No. 13 this week.
As humbling of a loss as it was to Atlanta, the Eagles shouldn't be that low. They have way too much talent, and it will show when they really come together (because they will).
Having the Carolina Panthers in the top 20 despite being 0-2 isn't completely out of the question.
But, therein lies the problem: winning is obviously the goal, and the Panthers haven't quite figured out how to do so yet.
Week 3 will be very telling.
Rankings 21-32
At this point in the season, it's almost more difficult to rank the bad teams because there appear to be a lot more of those.
That being said, the Miami Dolphins are a lot better than No. 31. They've played two teams (the Patriots and Houston Texans) with a combined record of 4-0.
And the St. Louis Rams are certainly better than No. 26, as they've lost to two solid NFC East opponents in Philadelphia and the New York Giants. They host the Baltimore Ravens this week, so the schedule doesn't get any easier.
These rankings are pretty good overall, and it also should be noted that it is more difficult to rank the NFL teams early in the season.
More evidence is needed as to who will begin to separate themselves or fall back into the pack.
In any event, Week 3 will be very interesting to watch to find out which teams bounce back and which ones keep it rolling.
