Michael Vick Injury: Why Vince Young Won't Lift Eagles If Vick Misses Time
Michael Vick is injured, again. The fact that he is concussed is not what should trouble Philadelphia Eagles fans. It's the fact that Vince Young is the next best arm in the bullpen that should.
Vick took on some friendly fire against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. He had to leave the game with what has been described as a concussion.
He is questionable for week three, and may not feature at all judging by how the NFL now treats such head injuries.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The backup for the time being would once again be Mike Kafka. There is no telling if Vince Young will be healthy by next weekend to play a significant role on the field.
That leaves Kafka as the short term solution. Which is necessary as Kafka is much more of a pocket passer than Vick, altering what this offense is built to do.
That leaves Vince Young as the ideal understudy to take over if Vick is lost for more than a week. This is a guy that was given the keys to the Titans franchise, then had them taken away.
You can count Young among the many athletes that have tremendous talent, but waste it when that muscle between their ears fails them.
Young is prone to blowing up. The man that could throw and run with the best of them can't let himself be a calm and poised quarterback through an entire season.
His anger over how things were run saw him booted from the Titans. Now we are to believe that his personality will take a backseat in the face of immense pressure.
Let's just say that Vick is gone for a while, and Young is called upon to take the helm. This will be the first time that he will have his hands on a Super Bowl contender.
The pressure is greater than anything he felt in Tennessee. Every questionable call and errant pass will be talked about by the most passionate fan base in sports.
The situation is rife for disaster. I am not questioning the talent, Young certainly has that in droves. I am questioning his head. Young doesn't have the necessary poise to lead a championship squad, as he has proved before.
