TNA News: Karen Jarrett Blast Hulk Hogan; States "Don't Mess with My Family "
This headline should be something out of The Enquirer. However, as they say, truth is stranger than fiction.
This news comes from wrestlinginc.com. Apparently, The Hulkster commented on Kurt Angle's recent arrest and somehow dragged Karen Jarrett into it.
The article states that Hogan was discussing Angle's latest driving fiasco on Sirius/XM wrestling show Busted Open.
The initial comments start off pretty innocent as he mentioned the following:
""The Kurt Angle thing, I don't know what to think of it yet. They said he blew, you know, and he wasn't drinking. I can't even begin to go there, I'm not going to put Hulk Hogan's opinion over what the legal system comes up with, because I don't even know what we are talking about with Kurt. I don't know what the facts yet, I don't know what's going on,"
"
Smart way to deflect and avoid a sticky situation with a fellow co-worker. However, in typical Hogan fashion, he eventually put his foot in his mouth stating:
""You know, I talked to his wife and she said he's a horrible driver. The whole time they were married, she wouldn't even let him drive the kids. He texts when he drives; he's great in the ring as far as focusing, but his people skills are horrible. He's got two left feet, and it translates into his driving. I'm not making any excuses for him, but I want to know what the facts are before I pass any judgment."
"
This is where things obviously got sticky, as he went from smartly saying no comment, to throwing Kurt's ex-wife under the bus. Not-to-mention, bashing Angle's social and driving skills.
Apparently, prowrestling.net, decided to stir the pot a bit and tweeted Karen Jarrett about the interview.
Obviously, she was none-to-pleased by this comment and quickly took to her Twitter.
"@karenjarrett: People should never make false statements and say they had conversations with people they didn't!!!! adding @prowrestlingnet I would love to do an interview and set the record straight on Hogan's comments.
"
If this indeed happens, I gotta give kudos to prowrestling.net for acting quickly on this news and landing a solid interview for their site. I will follow up on this story if the interview ever comes to fruition.
