Kristin Cavallari DWTS: 3 Ways Reality TV Star Can Win Dance Competition
The 13th season of Dancing With The Stars premieres tonight, and one competitor must re-vamp her image in order to gain votes and stay on the show.
Kristin Cavallari was known as the diva on The Hills, which is the MTV reality show that made her famous. Cavallari took the cheap route to stardom, but give her credit for staying relevant and continuing to make money any way she can.
That's the society we live in today, and we're all guilty of allowing these reality TV shows to become such big hits.
However, that's not a knock on the reality competition shows because let's be real, everyone loves to watch people compete.
Cavallari has a good shot at winning Dancing With The Stars, but she needs to do these three things in order for viewers to vote for her.
Become Likable
Easier said than done, but Cavallari has to drop the image of a diva and become a congenial contestant on the show. If she rubs viewers the wrong way, then nobody is going to vote for her.
Sure, she has a good following of fans, and of course they will vote for her, but the key to winning the show is getting those that aren't familiar with you to pick up the phone and vote for you.
It won't be easy, but it is possible for Cavallari to capture viewers from the start. Playing up the recent breakup to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler wouldn't be a bad idea for Cavallari.
Focus on DWTS and Not the Future
As mentioned before, Cavallari is a reality TV star, which means that's really the only way she can make money. She needs to keep her mind on her current show and not what she's going to do next.
Cavallari already told reporters that she has plans for after Dancing With The Stars, which wasn't a wise move.
"I just started pitching this reality show that I’m producing, so hopefully that gets picked up soon,” Cavallari revealed to HollywoodNews.com.
She can't mention this anymore, or else she'll lose voters because they'll realize her heart truly isn't in the competition.
Actually Dance Well
This one is obvious, but too often those stars with bigger names than others come on the show and just flop.
Cavallari can't fall flat on her face in the first few weeks, or she is gone, especially with her past reputation.
If she can start the show off with an exceptional performance then her stardom will increase. Cavallari has to start strong and stay that way throughout the competition.
If Cavallari can accomplish these three things then she will win the competition. The cast she is competing against isn't very strong, which means her chances are good.
I wouldn't bet on her because of her past reputation, but you never know when the viewers choose who stays and who goes. Or do they?
