NFL Power Rankings: Power Ranking Every Team That Has Played so Far
Now that all but two teams have played, we can start thinking about where the other 30 stand in the power rankings going into Week 3. With a slew of teams at 1-1 on the season, at first glance it appears to be a difficult task.
But, if you look more closely at those wins and losses, the better teams begin separating themselves from those who have struggled. Patterns begin to emerge after Week 2, and it makes it a bit easier to put together more accurate rankings.
As always, more than just the previous weeks' wins and losses inform my rankings. I take into account the context of the win or loss, the general expectations for each team, and how this week's performance will affect the next.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
You'll notice that some teams have taken a significant jump or drop from where they stood in Week 2; others have displayed more subtle movement. The Kansas City Chiefs, who I had at No. 16 going into the season, plummeted 10 spots last week and have dropped even further this week.
The Carolina Panthers still sit at the bottom of the pack. Yes, quarterback Cam Newton has thrown for an impressive 854 yards through his first two games, but all the yards in the world don't matter without a win and the Panthers have none.
A new team has taken over my top spot—the New England Patriots. While the Green Bay Packers won against the aforementioned Panthers this week, they struggled with an inferior team, while the Patriots held off the stout San Diego Chargers and played offensively flawless football.
Yes, there are only 30 teams on the list; this will change after tonight's game between the New York Giants and St. Louis Rams. I have left them off, but for your reference, they were listed at 15 and 16, respectively, headed into the week.
