Top 20 Football Tweets of the Week
Twitter has become a fantastic way for players and fans to interact. It allows both to express feelings back and forth and keeps a protective barrier around each at the same time as a means of freedom of speech.
However, at times it can bite players back or get them involved in arguments amongst themselves and other players or even fans and fellow celebrities.
Bleacher Report is not the only site that is currently taking the time to investigate and catalog Twitter these days. The Telegraph recently released a twitter-fueled article titled "Top Five Most Notorious Twitter Rows" cataloging the most explosive arguments. The article includes the famous bust up between Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand and an Arsenal fan.
As the social media craze continues to grow more every day, the more comments on Twitter will be tracked and scrutinized. Just as former Liverpool now TSG Hoffenheim forward Ryan Babel. When Babel was at Liverpool he was fined £10,000 for comments he made on Twitter criticizing match official Howard Webb.
All of that said let us see what our tweeting footballers had to say this week.
