NFL Scores Week 2: Which Teams Suffered Most Embarrassing Losses?

Jon DoveJun 7, 2018

The Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears suffered the most embarrassing Week 2 losses. These teams were embarrassed in different ways, but each will be watching some ugly game film. You could expect to see some coaches under fire after their disappointing losses.

Chicago's offense was a mess, as they struggled to stop New Orleans' pass rush. Jay Cutler was under constant pressure, often struggling to execute a play. If anyone questions Culter's toughness they need to start watching more football.

Mike Tice and Mike Martz will be spending a ton of time trying to find answers.

The result of this game should be embarrassing to General Manager Jerry Angelo, as he failed to address an apparent weakness. Last season, the Bears gave up the most sacks in the NFL.  Angelo decided that he would only add Gabe Carimi, while subtracting Olin Kruetz.

The offensive line and Angelo's decision making are very embarrassing.

Kansas City isn't only struggling to score points but also stopping teams from getting into the endzone. Today's loss at Detroit, was a completely embarrassing performance. You should hang your head in shame, any time you loose by 45 points and score only a field goal.

The Detroit Lions are a good looking team, but are far away from dominating.

When the entire football world questions a decision there is usually something behind it. Everyone felt that he Jaguars were making a mistake when they decided to release David Garrard. It appears that it was a bad decision.

Garrard wasn't a great NFL quarterback, but he gave the Jaguars a chance to win. Today, Luke McCown showed he doesn't have the ability to consistently win in the NFL. Probably the most embarrassing stat was Jacksonville's 3-12 third down conversion rate.
