Tim Tebow: Does Broncos QB Have Fantasy Football Value as WR?
Lindsay Jones is reporting that Tim Tebow is running routes in the pregame warm-up. The Broncos will be without Brandon Lloyd and only have three active receivers on the roster. This could result in Tim Tebow seeing some time at the receiver position. The Broncos likely have more than a few packages for the backup quarterback.
Tebow was a dual-threat quarterback in college, arguably more effective as a runner. He is a bigger quarterback with good speed and toughness. Entering the 2010 draft, Tebow was receiving some attention as a tight end/H-back prospect. However, he felt that his future was at quarterback. Tebow hired a quarterback coach and the rest is history.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Now the Broncos might be faced with a tough decision. Playing Tebow anywhere other than quarterback would start a whole mess of trouble. It would beg the question: What is Tebow's future position? Tebow is way too competitive to play receiver/tight end and not give 100 percent. He could very well be productive, starting a whole other debate.
Fantasy owners considering adding Tebow because of his potential at receiver better hold off. Roster spots are precious and Tebow doesn't have enough upside to occupy a spot. If he sees the field as a receiver, it would likely be on specifically designed plays. He has not received enough reps at those positions to be capable of big-time production.
The Tim Tebow debate will continue to rage on; he is an intriguing player and figure in the NFL. His devoted following is very vocal and will continue to call for playing time. Compounding the situation is the fact that the Broncos continue to struggle.
Kyle Orton has not been able to produce enough victories to silence the Tebow fans. Expect to see more coverage if Tebow does get some snaps at receiver. However, don't expect good fantasy production.
