Santonio Holmes Injury: How Does Injured Knee Affect WR's Fantasy Stock?
New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes has been suffering from a knee injury this week, and he is officially questionable for today's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Holmes has told his teammates that he plans to play today. However, it's looking like the final word on the matter will come down within the next hour or so.
For fantasy GMs awaiting the status of their starting wide receiver, this is not good news. If he does play, then you have just minutes to set your roster before you're locked out on the day, same as if he doesn't.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I would recommend waiting until the very last minute and monitoring Holmes' situation closely. For what it's worth, I do not believe that he will play and that, if he does, he will be less of a factor than he typically is, considering his injury.
If he does play, only start him if your bench options are dismal. Hopefully, you've built up enough depth via your draft and the waiver wire to have a receiver in mind to fill in for injured starters.
Should you lack that depth, if you can grab Plaxico Burress out of your free-agent pool (granted, he's still there after his solid Week 1 performance), I'd do it now, even if just for today.
UPDATED: NFL Network's Albert Breer reports that Holmes will play today; still, for fantasy football purposes, proceed with caution.
