NFL Picks Week 2: 3 Early Games to Bet the Farm on
With Week 2 about to kick off, it’s time to get those last-minute bets in before the 1:00 p.m. EST games begin.
There are 10 early games this week so there is a lot of action before we even get to the 4:15 games.
Here are three "locks" that I would feel very comfortable playing to build your bankroll and get an edge on your book with six NFL games still left to be played this week.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
PITTSBURGH STEELERS (-14) vs. Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are coming into Pittsburgh and are going to get stomped all over the field all day long.
Seattle lost in San Francisco last week, 33-17, and were scorched by the special teams play of Ted Ginn Jr.
Tarvaris Jackson looked like an absolute bum and it really raises the question as to what head coach Pete Caroll was thinking when he brought him in to be the starter.
They are going to get absolutely decimated by the tough Steelers defense and solid offense that was stifled and confused by the Baltimore Ravens last week.
I expect a vengeance beatdown of epic proportions to be laid upon the Seahawks by the veteran Steelers team.
Prediction: Steelers over Seahawks, 30-3.
Chicago Bears at NEW ORLEANS SAINTS ‘Over’ 47.5
The Over/Under for this Bears vs. Saints games is 47.5 and it will definitely go over. The over hit in 12 of the 16 games last week and offenses seemed more prolific than ever while defenses lagged behind.
I’m not sure what to attribute this to, but it certainly isn’t a trend you want to fade away from when making plays this week.
The Saints threw all over the field against Green Bay and put up a ton of points, but were unable to overcome an even higher-powered Packers offense.
Chicago looked solid defensively against an under-prepared Atlanta team last week, but won’t be able to get the same type of performance again today. It will still put up points though, which makes this a lock for the over.
Prediction: Saints over Bears, 35-27. 62 total points.
CAROLINA PANTHERS (+10.5) vs. Green Bay Packers
I feel the public is banging the Packers hard, which is why the line moved from its opening at Panthers +10.
I don’t see the Panthers losing this by more than a touchdown so this is a very safe play.
Cam Newton looked very solid early but many aren’t convinced he is NFL-ready for some reason still. Dom Capers, the Packers’ defensive coordinator, is going to look to shut down the run before concentrating on Cam and his bombs to Steve Smith.
I think this will be a shootout that comes down to the last few drives. Neither team has a great defense, so the over at 45 looks to be a solid play as well.
Prediction: Packers over Panthers, 37-30.
