NFL Fantasy Football Week 2 Start 'Em Sit 'Em: 3 QBs Best Left on Your Bench
Unless you own one of the league's marquee quarterbacks, it's likely you spend a lot of time analyzing which of your gunslingers to start each week. With that in mind, here are three quarterbacks best left on your bench in Week 2 while you explore other options.
Eli Manning – New York Giants
Manning makes a lot of mistakes. In previous years he had a pretty good offensive line that allowed him to put up good enough offensive stats to remain fantasy worthy. With a line that hasn't been playing up to par so far, Manning is going to struggle.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The allure of starting a quarterback on Monday Night Football is obvious. You have a chance to come back, no matter how much you are down. How many Tom Brady owners pulled out miracle wins last week?
However, the fact of the matter is that Monday night is no different than Sunday afternoon and your decision should be based on which QB will score more, not when they play. Manning will struggle to put up more than average numbers in Week 2.
Prediction: 225 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions
Matt Ryan – Atlanta Falcons
Ryan threw for more than 300 yards in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears, but failed to find the end zone. He looks like a real risky play against a Philadelphia Eagles defense that has a terrific secondary, including three big-play corners.
Having Roddy White, Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez as targets would seem to make Ryan a must-start quarterback, but that isn't the case. The Falcons offense just doesn't have a good rhythm right now and until it shows some signs of snapping out of it, Ryan will need to be analyzed on a week-to-week basis.
On the flip side, if Ryan does have another poor start against the Eagles, it would be a good time to try to buy low. His owners will likely be frustrated after two bad starts and you might be able to snatch him away for a reasonable price, especially in keeper leagues.
Prediction: 275 yards, one touchdown and one interception
Cam Newton – Carolina Panthers
After an awe-inspiring first career start, Cam Newton was picked up in an astonishing 64 percent of fantasy leagues throughout the week. However, he'll come back down to earth with a game against the Green Bay Packers in Week 2.
Newton totaled 440 all-purpose yards, two touchdowns and 25 fantasy points against a weakened Arizona Cardinals defense. Don't be fooled by Green Bay's poor defensive rank after beating the New Orleans Saints; it's a strong unit that was outplayed by another strong unit.
Outside of Steve Smith, who will likely be doubleteamed by the Packers, and Greg Olsen, Newton doesn't have many options in the passing game. The running game was basically nonexistent last week and if that happens again, this game could turn into a beatdown.
Prediction: 225 passing yards, 30 rushing yards, one touchdown and two interceptions
