Who Will Make the Super Bowl This Season?

You have to admit, there were very few people out there that thought that the Green Bay Packers were going to make the playoffs last season, much less win the Super Bowl.  The Packers came from out of nowhere to march into the playoffs and win the big game and there is no reason to think that they won’t be able to do that again this year.  Especially after what we saw on Thursday night. 

They have only gotten better this offseason and are poised to have another big year in the NFC.
In the AFC there are a handful of teams that could easily make it to the Super Bowl.  The Jets are certainly one of those teams that could get there; as are the Patriots, the Steelers and the Ravens.  There could also be a couple of “dark-horse” teams that could contend in the AFC, but it looks as if the old standby teams are going to be right there in the thick of it.

So what are my predictions for which teams that will land in the Super Bowl this season?  The Philadelphia Eagles have built one of the strongest teams in the NFL this season and if quarterback Michael Vick can stay healthy this team could go all the way.  Along with the Packers, they appear to one of the strongest teams in the NFC and could get to the Super Bowl this season.

Will this finally be the year that the Jets get to the Super Bowl?  They have the weapons to get them to where they want and could dominate the AFC this season.

So look for the Eagles and the Jets to represent their respective conferences in the Super Bowl at the end of this coming season.

But don’t forget about those other teams that could come up and surprise everyone in the end.  The Packers still have what it takes to win and the Saints are looking very good heading into the season.  Even the Chicago Bears could make a run at the Super Bowl and quite possibly get in.  And that’s just in the NFC.

In the AFC, the San Diego Chargers are always a possibility to make the Super Bowl and there could be other teams that sneak up and surprise. Anything is possible.
