He's Back: Edge The Ultimate Opportunist Strikes Again!
If you saw wwe.com early Sunday morning, you saw that Jeff Hardy was found passed out by or in his hotel room in Boston, where the Survivor Series PPV was held. Well we all thought it was another one of Hardy's antics, and that he was going down the wrong road again.
A road full of drugs that could lead him to once again be out of the title picture and suspended. Well come to find out Edge was the man who took Hardy out. Making it seem as if he was going down that road again.
And we the WWE fan believed it too. WWE made a great storyline out of this and was one of the best I have ever witnessed in my life at a PPV. And then Edge comes out with Vickie Guerrero and she makes it a triple threat once again.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
And of course it was during the match where Edge has to do almost nothing to win. In a radio call in on Turnbuckle Talk, done by one of our own on B/R, I had the honor of kind of analysing the PPV. And I said that Edge would most likely appear at Survivor Series but in the WWE Title match.
I thought it would be an interference and not that he would actually be in the match. I knew this PPV was hyped up and it is one PPV that the WWE always makes interesting every single year.
But this one seemed to really live up to all the hype as we all saw John Cena and Edge be crowned the new World Champions of their respective brands. Only the second time this has happened at Survivor Series.
Of course we saw Hardy come back and swing a chair or two at Edge, where he missed and hit Triple H and Kozlov. This virtually helped The Rated R Superstar regain his World Title he had lost months ago.
Edge is back and there is more to come for him as far as I am hearing. You remember La Familia? Well we may not see much of Ryder and Hawkins, or even Chavo and Bam. And once again Edge will have Vickie in his back pocket.
And one more should come into the fold, as I am hearing Christian Cage is coming to the WWE once his TNA contract ends this week. And he may appear on SmackDown as soon as next week.
If he does indeed leave TNA he will go to SmackDown to be apart of Edge's new faction. And even though most that come to the WWE who are popular wrestlers are faces when they come, Cage may be a heel from day one.
He is going to be getting paid just about triple his TNA salary, around seven figures, so for him to stay in TNA is very unlikely. He has even been written out of all TNA storylines. And we last saw Cage on TNA being taken out by The Main Event Mafia.
We may see him like I said as soon as next week, but since the Smackdown tapings just so happen to be in Florida, we might see him this week. Since his contract does end early this week.
Usually Tuesday is the SmackDown tapings, so Cage's contract may end in time for him to be there, if not he could be at SmackDown next week, but all this hinges on Cage coming to the WWE and not staying in TNA obviously.
Edge will be once again the new Champ on SmackDown and we all are in the Rated R era once again. What do you think of the PPV?
