Fantasy Football Week 2 Rankings: Ranking the Worst TE Plays
When you have a solid TE on your fantasy football team, it can really put your lineup over the edge and give you a big advantage each week.
Sadly, there aren't too many TEs who are capable of racking up big numbers on a consistent basis, as offenses are gearing more toward the spread look with four WRs and one RB.
So for Week 2 in fantasy football, here are three TEs who should remain on the bench.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
3. Daniel Fells, Denver Broncos
With the current scrutiny of QB Kyle Orton, it's uncertain as to who the long-term QB is for Denver.
In addition, although the Broncos are a more pass-oriented team, Fells doesn't receive many targets with WRs Eddie Royal, Brandon Lloyd and Eric Decker.
Fells is a reliable TE, but he's not a good start in fantasy as he won't put up near the numbers of your average NFL TEs.
2. David Thomas, New Orleans Saints
For as much as the New Orleans Saints and QB Drew Brees love to spread the rock around, unfortunately TE David Thomas isn't one of the recipients.
And with the Saints having trouble with their rushing offense, it's likely that Thomas will be strictly used more as a blocking TE, or even for extra protection for Brees.
Plus, if New Orleans wants to contend for another Super Bowl, the run game will have to improve anyway.
1. Kevin Boss, Oakland Raiders
The Oakland Raiders are a rushing offense, plain and simple.
Boss is a solid and reliable receiving target for QB Jason Campbell, but the Raiders aren't going to rely very much on the pass with RBs Darren McFadden and Michael Bush in the backfield.
They put up close to 200 yards on a much improved Denver Broncos rush defense, so don't count on Boss being very productive in receiving numbers at all this season.
