5 NFL Players Set for Monster Games This Week

Quarterbacks put up huge numbers in Week 1 of the NFL season. ย While they were getting most of the coverage, some notable performances were somewhat forgotten about. ย

This is a list of the five players who I expect to have monster games this week.

Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts.

Ray Rice

1 of 5

Ray Rice had a huge game versus a tough Steelers defense in Week 1. ย He should have a much easier matchup against the Titans this week. ย He should put up similar or even better numbers than in Week 1.

Jermichael Finley

2 of 5

Jermichael Finley showed last week that his knee appears fully healed. ย He will be going up against a Panthers defense that will have a hard enough time covering guys like Greg Jennings and Donald Driver on the outside, let alone Finley in the middle. ย Now that stud linebacker Jon Beason is out for the year, Finley should have an even easier time against Carolina in Week 2.

Jahvid Best

3 of 5

Jahvid Best ran for 72 yards and caught four passes for an additional 42 yards against Tampa Bay in Week 1. ย He should be able to easily exploit a Chiefs defense that gave up 42 points to the Bills in Week 1.

Andre Johnson

4 of 5

Andre Johnson seems to put up huge numbers almost every week. ย He had seven catches for 95 yards and a TD in Week 1 and is facing a Dolphins defense that gave up 521 passing yards to the Patriots last week. ย "The Beast" should be able to do what he always does yet again this week.

Darren McFadden

5 of 5

Darren McFadden led all rushers last week with a whopping 150 yards. ย He should rack up yards once again against the Bills this week. ย Look for him to possibly lead the NFL in rushing this season if he can stay healthy.
