Big East Recap: Week 1

For the ranked Big East teams, Week 1 was not very exciting. There were no major upsets, or even any very close calls.

Connecticut faced off with Miami (FL) (#17 AP, #16 Coaches), but the Huskies never trailed and the Hurricanes were held without a basket for almost nine minutes. The unranked teams provided a little more entertainment, however, with the most excitement coming from Seton Hall's (3-1) upset of USC (3-2, #19 AP, #20 Coaches).
