NFL Fantasy Football Week 2 Rankings: What Are the Best Plays at WR?
They are arguably the most exciting athletes in Pro Football and make some of the game's biggest plays.
WRs can break a game wide open just like return specialists, but they can also prove to be very disappointing.
Obviously, stud WRs like Andre Johnson (Houston), Greg Jennings (Green Bay), Larry Fitzgerald (Arizona) and Calvin Johnson (Detroit) are usually the best players each week.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So, let's look at a few other WRs that are going to be some of Week 2's best players in fantasy football.
Lee Evans, Baltimore Ravens (vs. Tennessee Titans)
A big reason why the Titans fell to the Jaguars in Week 1 was that Jacksonville gained over 160 rushing yards and won the time-of-possession battle 39:38 to 20:22.
Considering that the Ravens having a better ground game than Jacksonville, Week 2 will be an encore performance for the Tennessee defense.
Additionally, Ravens' WR Lee Evans will get his, as Ray Rice's productivity will beautifully set up the play-action pass.
Evans won't get an extreme number of targets, but he'll be sent deep and QB Joe Flacco will connect.
Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys (vs. San Francisco 49ers)
Although he's considered "questionable" right now, it would be surprising to see Dez Bryant sitting out in Week 2.
Before being blanketed by Jets' CB Darrelle Revis in Week 1, Bryant had three catches for 71 yards and a TD in the first-half.
Therefore, expect a big performance from him against the 49ers, whose defense is not comparable to that of the Jets.
This week, the Dallas offense just over-matches San Fran's defense, and Bryant will be the featured wideout.
Just be sure to continually check his status for "better safe than sorry" purposes.
Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers (vs. Green Bay Packers)
This one may come as a surprise, especially with a rookie QB under center, but folks, Carolina WR Steve Smith is back.
As much as we'd like to belittle the Arizona Cardinals' pass defense in Week 1, the simple fact is that Smith is just that good.
With rookie DB Patrick Peterson and veterans Adrian Wilson and Kerry Rhodes, the Cardinals do have a solid secondary. Smith is just a better WR than they are DBs. Period.
The Packers are a much, much better defensive unit than Arizona; however, they are susceptible to giving up passing yards. That said, it was Drew Brees, not Cam Newton, throwing for over 400 against Green Bay in Week 1.
If there's a reason why the Panthers have any success at home against the cheeseheads, Steve Smith will be that reason. He can run any route on the field and can beat any coverage at any given time.
Now, he finally has a QB with a great deal of potential under center.
