Floyd Mayweather Video: Watch Money Speak Truth about Possible Pacquiao Bout

Floyd Mayweather is not now, nor was he ever, ducking Manny Pacquiao.

He isn’t the evil being Pacquiao fans make him out to be either, though he’s clearly the villain in this bout due to his lavish lifestyle and outspoken nature.

It’s about time Mayweather came out and said that he’s not ducking Manny—and he’s justified in his claim.

Everyone has been accusing “Money” of ducking him over the past few years, which is absurd. It’s about time Mayweather put the kibosh on that nonsense.

Mayweather speaks a lot of truth in this video. The one thing that will make us happy is for him to get on the podium and say he’s going to fight Manny.

Unfortunately, Mayweather can do that all day, but it won’t matter.

This fight—all along—has been dictated by Pacquiao, not Mayweather.

The only thing Manny has to do is take a drug test. I’m tired of the excuses for Pacquiao already. It’s a simple concept. Take the test before the fight and we’ll get to see the epic showdown we’ve all desired.

Now, I completely understand the hate for Mayweather. He can be pompous and he’s a showman. Still, that’s his prerogative. I’m not a fan of the way he flaunts money and even talks about getting this and that in the video, but it’s always been clear that he loves money and wants more.

There’s no reason for Mayweather to duck Pacquiao. Sure, he could hold out for $50, $75 or $100 million, but there is already an extraordinary amount of money to be made from this fight.

Mayweather isn’t scared of Pacquiao’s fists of fury. “Money” may be the most confident athlete I’ve ever seen. He has too much pride and too big of an ego to back down from a fight with Manny if Pacquiao simply did what he was asked to do.

Considering Mayweather’s fighting style, there’s no doubt in my mind that there would be doubt in his. He is a masterful technician in the ring and would be able to counter Manny’s hands of stone. Mayweather would probably win by decision since Pacquiao won’t be able to get through his defense.

If anybody is doing the ducking here, one could make the argument it’s easily Pacquiao for failing to meet Mayweather’s demands.
