Fantasy Football Projections Week 2: Which QBs Are Locks for Monster Games?

John RozumJun 4, 2018

It seems as though almost every week we get at least one QB who throws for over 400 yards, and sometimes even two or more if we're fortunate.

And now with that in mind, here's to hoping your QB dominates in fantasy football this week.

Obviously, all will not slice their opposing defenses, but there will be the familiars that do, in addition to some newcomers.

That being said, here are three fantasy football QBs who are going to be dialed in for Week 2 and ultimately have some monster games.

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

In Week 1, the Carolina Panthers gave up just over 300 passing yards and two TDs to Kevin Kolb of the Arizona Cardinals.

Also in Week 1, Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers tossed over 300 yards, including three TDs, against a better defense in the New Orleans Saints.

With LB Jon Beason out for the year, it only makes the Panthers' D more vulnerable.

Therefore, expect Rodgers to easily hit 350 yards with an additional three TDs and no picks.

Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles

Last week, the Atlanta Falcons gave up over 300 yards and two TDs to Jay Cutler of the Chicago Bears.

If you compare the Bears' offensive weapons to those of the Eagles, it's not even close.

Although Chicago's is solid, they're not on the juggernaut-level like Philly.

That being said, Michael Vick will thrive in a hostile environment because of his toys.

In addition, the scariest part about Philly is that they haven't even really come together yet.

On Sunday night, Vick tosses close to 350 yards and three TDs.

Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers

No surprise here as one of the AFC's best QBs goes under center against a very suspect New England defense.

On Monday night, Bill Belichick's defense remained weak against the pass by allowing over 400 yards to Chad Henne of Miami.

Thing is, Henne's targets are nowhere near the level of Rivers' and to enhance the situation, Rivers is better than Henne.

So, you can anticipate Rivers gunning over 350 yards and three TDs, just like the two other studs mentioned above.
