TNA News: Hardys in Negotiations to Reunite for Upcoming Tour
Word is coming from wrestlinginc.com that the Hardy Boyz may reunite for an upcoming tour in Mexico for Air Extreme Wrestling.
According to the article:
""Eduardo Soto Ramirez, owner of AEW, said in the press release that Jeff is keen to perform in Mexico while negotiations with Matt slowed following his recent automobile accident. He adds that Matt is considering leaving the professional wrestling industry to pursue other endeavors."
"
This tour is set to be a star-studded wrestling event as Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, Juventud Guerrera and Brian Kendrick are all slated to take part.
Ramirez may have even more leverage with Matt Hardy, as Matt's girlfriend Reby Sky is set to be a part of this tour as well.
Now, it is highly unlikely that Matt's endeavors will amount to much of anything. So, chances are, he will have to return to the ring at some point to either promote his latest project or simply stay relevant.
Let's face it, neither of the Hardys seem to have any talent that can make them money outside of the ring.
Also, the "Average Joe" has made more profound YouTube videos than Matt Hardy. Not to mention, a lot of regular folks' tweets are just as insane and hard to understand.
So, what other than his name and in-ring talent does Hardy have to bring as a civilian?
Now, from a fan's perspective, if both Hardys are clean and sober-ish, the Mexican wrestling fans will be in for a treat if they team up again.
Sadly, this news comes on the heels of B/R writer Sharon Glencross' latest report about another Matt Hardy DWI. So it seems Matt's plans may be more on-hold than we realize.
