She's a Brick House....Mighty, Mighty, Just Lettin' it All Hang Out

As soon as I started thinking about bricks—which is what Cleveland and Los Angeles are both throwing up, that song went through my head. It's a great song. Of course, now I'm thinking....is it available on YouTube?

Yes. It took a lot of searching and probably someone will remove it soon, but here it is:

Check out Lionel Richie playing the sax in that video. Ha!

Anyway, back to the bricks. Clippers are shooting .379 and the Cavs are shooting .360. I'm watching two Clips—I recently picked up Al Thornton and Tim Thomas. Tim Thomas is doing okay thus far—8 points and 4 boards in 14 minutes. Al Thornton—4 points and 1 board in 11 minutes.

I need Chris Kaman to get over his flu. Rub dirt in it. Walk it off. Whatever. I need you to start playing again.

Hawks - Nets

Weird. Just started the third quarter and Josh Boone has six points and no boards. Last night, Boone had more points than rebounds. He's starting at forward instead of center. Really odd, Jason Collins playing again. I read that Collins' last night was well—last night due to the trade with Stromile Swift.

Weird. Here's the blurb from AP...

"With a trade to Memphis possibly near completion, center Jason Collins started what could be his final game with the New Jersey Nets on Saturday night."

Ok, so he's playing.

Hakim Warrick not getting any playing time yet in their game against Utah.

Scratch that. He just got in and nailed a 3. Nice. KEEP HIM IN!

Commercials That Endlessly Play on NBA League Pass

The first commercial, strangely, doesn't bug me. It's got all the elements in annoyance. All of 'em. Animals, singing animals, a stupid looking guy (actually—no, that helps) and a song from '70's. But this Jeep Liberty commercial—for some strange reason works for me.

The KIA Spectra Commercial from F-ing HELL

This commercial—shoot me. Oh my God, I hate it. It's some singer named Joe Purdy. And his voice is so annoying, you just want to eat raw sewage listening to it. So I go to YouTube only to find people who actually like this idiot.
