Fantasy Football Week 2 Rankings: 3 RBs Soaring Up Your Depth Charts
Three running backs made an impression in the first week that they are ready to become regular starters on most teams. So, if you have any of the next three players on your roster, congratulations—you have three of the early season risers.
Buffalo Bills RB, Fred Jackson
Jackson is part of a crowded Buffalo Bills backfield. He definitely has talent, but two questions loomed as the season started. Would he get enough touches, and would the Bills be able to move the ball well enough to make Jackson a starter?

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
They answered on both counts in Week 1. Jackson had 20 carries for 112 yards. He was clearly the featured and go to back. I expect he will get an even bigger share of the carries in close games.
Detroit Lions RB, Jahvid Best
Jahvid Best is coming off of an injury riddled rookie season. He is healthy now though, and he looks good. He had 21 carries for 72 yards against a tough Tampa Bay run defense.
What adds great value to Best is is involvement in the pass game. He had four catches for 42 yards in Week 1. The Lions are going to put this young man in a position to produce each and every week.
Washington Redskins RB, Tim Hightower
Hightower had a strong preseason, but I was holding back on him until I saw a regular season game. I wasn't convinced that Shanahan would give him featured back status. That is exactly what he was in Week 1.
He had 25 carries for 72 yards and one TD. That is a low yards per carry number, but this guy is going to get his touches and the Redskins won't be afraid to give him the ball in goal line situations.
