2011 NFL Schedule Week 2: The 3 Most Exciting Matchups This Week
Week 2 of the NFL has some really exciting games. It’s going to sort out the pretenders from the contenders after some very surprising Week 1 upsets.
We are going to see if teams like the Redskins, Bills and Bears are for real this season, and those teams aren’t even involved in the most exciting matchups.
Let’s take a look at the three games you have to watch during Week 2.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
San Diego Chargers at New England Patriots
The Chargers got off to a slow start against the Vikings last week, but took over and earned a solid victory to open the season. After a disappointing 9-7 campaign last year, the Chargers are looking to rebound and win the AFC West once again.
Getting a victory over the Patriots on the road would be one sure way to prove they are worthy of being a playoff team.
It certainly won’t be easy for them, following Tom Brady's record-setting Monday Night Football performance against the Dolphins. Indeed, Brady showed that he is worthy of MVP consideration for the second-straight year.
The Patriots are always a solid team, and playing on the road will just make it harder for the Chargers to pull out an upset victory.
Philadelphia Eagles at Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons looked terrible against the Chicago Bears last week, but we should find out what they are made of in their tough Week 2 matchup against the Eagles
Atlanta went 13-3 and led the NFC in wins last year. However, if they start 0-2, it will be hard for them to even win their division.
Philadelphia looked vulnerable in the early stages of their win over the Rams last week, but eventually pulled it together to win big. That being said, the Eagles were fortunate that Steven Jackson went down with an injury after ripping off a huge touchdown run against them.
Matt Ryan hardly loses in the Georgia Dome, but the high-powered Eagles offense may benefit from playing on that surface themselves. This is going to be a great, great game.
Green Bay Packers at Carolina Panthers
Cam Newton wowed everyone in his rookie debut against the Cardinals on the road. He chucked the rock for over 400 yards and accounted for all three of Carolina's touchdowns.
Newton and the Panthers took a very close 28-21 loss and had a chance to win if they could have made a tackle on Patrick Peterson’s punt return.
They will have a tough outing against the Packers in Week 2, but have the benefit of playing at home.
Green Bay went bananas on offense against the Saints last week, but looked a little leaky on defense. They lost emerging star cornerback Tramon Williams during that game and he may not play this week.
I predict this game to be a high-scoring shootout between an established veteran QB in Aaron Rodgers and up-and-coming rookie Newton.
