Knowshon Moreno Injury: Is Willis McGahee Now a Fantasy Football RB1?
Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno injured his hamstring in the team's loss to the Oakland Raiders, and it is looking very likely that he will not play in their Week 2 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Moreno, part of a "hot hand" running back tandem with Willis McGahee on Monday, wasn't very impressive. He rushed just eight times for 22 yards.
McGahee fared even worse, rushing four times for only three yards.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While Moreno will not be available to fantasy GMs this coming Sunday, it might not be a smart move to pick up—let alone start—the slumping McGahee.
The Broncos took on the Raiders in Week 1—not the most intimidating opponent this season, though they do serve as Denver's main divisional rival. In Week 2, they meet the Cincinnati Bengals.
It is quite possible the Broncos could be looking at a similar offensive output against the Bengals as they had against the Raiders.
The Bengals allowed only 83 rushing yards in their Week 1 win against the Browns, and they will likely look to force struggling Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton to gain offensive yards in the air.
Neither McGahee nor Moreno are looking like must-start fantasy football running backs. Though Moreno is presumably unable to play on Sunday, it does not look like McGahee will have a successful outing in his stead.
Fantasy GMs with Moreno should look for another solution to their running back problems this Sunday, because McGahee isn't the answer.
