Will TideyJun 6, 2018

Manchester United are one of the best supported football clubs on the planet, with some estimates suggesting they have over 300 million fans around the globe.

Those lucky enough to make it to Old Trafford, or to watch United on their travels in the Premier League or Champions League, will have heard all these songs at one time or another.

Some are straight-up, some delivered with a hint of irony. There are those that celebrate the football team they love and others designed to belittle their bitter rivals.

Here are 10 great Manchester United fan chants.

1. Que Sera Sera

1 of 10

Perhaps the song we associate most with United through the years is Doris Day's "Que Sera Sera."

Que Sera, Sera
Whatever will be, will be
We're going to Wembley
Que Sera, Sera

2. Red Flag Flying High

2 of 10

This one is sung to the tune of Jimmy Connell's socialist anthem, "The Red Flag." There are verses too, but this is the refrain you'll be familiar with.

We'll never die, we'll never die
We'll never die, we'll never die
We'll keep the Red Flag flying high
Cos Man United will never die

3. Matt Busby's Aces

3 of 10

This one is an ode to the great United manager Matt Busby, and the teams he put out in the 1950s and 60s.

Oh, me lads, you should have seen us coming
Fastest team in the land, just to see us running
All the lads and lasses, with smiles upon their faces
Walking down to the Warwick Road, to see the Busby Aces

We'll do what we what
We'll do what we want
We're Man United, we'll do what we want

6. We Are the Busby Boys

6 of 10

Another ode to the great Matt Busby and his team, you won't go long without hearing this one at Old Trafford.

Hello, hello we are the Busby Boys
Hello, hello we make a lot of noise
And if you are a CIty fan, surrender or you'll die
We all follow United

7. The Pride of All Europe

7 of 10

This is chant that not only celebrates United, but also takes a few pot-shots at the club's rivals.

We are just one of those teams that you see now and then
We often score six, but we seldom score ten
We beat 'em at home and we beat 'em away
We kill any b*****ds,
That get in our way

We are the pride of all Europe
The cock of the North
We hate the Scousers, the Cockneys of course (and Leeds)
We are United, without any doubt
We are the Manchester boys

8. Manchester Is Wonderful

8 of 10

Avert your ears if you're easily offended for this one. A light-hearted ode to the city of Manchester.

Oh Manchester is wonderful
Oh Manchester is wonderful
It's full of t**s, f***y and United
Oh Manchester is wonderful

Ooh ahh, Cantona

10. The White Pele

10 of 10

This one goes out to United's Wayne Rooney, and pays him the ultimate footballing accolade.

I saw my mate the other day
He said to me he saw the white Pele
So I asked, who is he?
He goes by the name of Wayne Rooney
Wayne Rooney, Wayne Rooney
He goes by the name of Wayne Rooney
