NFL Power Rankings: Top 5 Will Be Safe from Upsetting Results in Week 2
Bow your heads in reverence, people. These are the top five teams in the NFL after Week 1. Forget the adage of any given Sunday, these teams are guaranteed victory in a few short days.
Week 1 gave us a delightful NFL landscape with which to consider. We saw a couple of past Super Bowl contenders get pummeled, then subsequently humbled.
The Giants can kiss goodbye their playoff hopes, unless of course they have an injury elixir they aren't telling us about.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Steelers are one team that can come back from a shellacking like the one the Ravens gave them.
The rest, well they managed to escape a perilous first week, and they will do so once again in week 2.
No. 5 Baltimore at Tennessee
I can't stress how good the Ravens looked on Sunday. They were pounding the line on both sides like the Steelers stole something from them.
This is a team that is tired of being on the outside looking in. I would be very afraid to face them at this point.
Jacksonville at No. 4 NY Jets
The New York Jets looked rusty against the Cowboys. And if it weren't for the Tony Romo jinx, we would be talking about another team here. That being said, the Jets are superior to the Jaguars at almost every aspect.
No. 3 Philadelphia at Atlanta
The Atlanta Falcons are not the same team we enjoyed watching last year. They are struggling to find themselves, making them a delight to play.
Without their early season doldrums, I would still take a red hot Michael Vick and Shady McCoy. You can't beat what you can't catch.
San Diego at No. 2 New England
This game gave me pause. The Patriots secondary looked horrible at times against a Chad Henne-led Dolphins squad.
Still, I will take a Bill Belichick squad any day over a Norv Turner one in September.
No. 1 Green Bay at Carolina
Cam Newton's first game was fantastic, a true marvel. Much like your amazing weekend, it is time to shake the hangover and get back to reality.
Newton will not get the same obvious schemes and wide open windows to throw to against the Packers. This game will truly welcome Newton to the NFL.
