NFL Power Rankings Week 2: 3 Teams with Most to Prove
After some upset losses in Week 1, a number of teams need to prove that they were worthy of their lofty preseason power ranking.
Let’s start with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who were absolutely destroyed by their division rivals, the Baltimore Ravens.
The Steelers started the season near the very top of the power rankings, but fell a few spots after the tough loss. Is it safe to assume that the seven turnovers on offense and terrible performance by the Steelers defense was a fluke?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I think so.
The team has been to three Super Bowls over the past six years and they are not done yet. Look for them to rebound and make a huge statement against the lowly Seahawks. The Steelers are not even as close to as bad as the Ravens made them look on Sunday.
Next up is the New York Giants. The G-Men suffered an embarrassing 14-point loss to the Washington Redskins, who picked on their injury-ravaged defense. The Giants have not lost to the Redskins in three seasons, but they finally succumbed to their division rival on Sunday.
The Giants need to get some guys back on the field against the equally injury depleted St. Louis Rams. Both of these teams are playing to keep their season on track in their respective divisions, so look for a good game next Monday night.
Finally, the Atlanta Falcons need to prove that they are still the same team that won 13 games last season and had the best record in the NFC.
The Chicago Bears stomped a mud hole into them this weekend and simply made Matt Ryan and his team look terrible. They could not get anything going, and the offensive line will need to be able to protect their star QB against the Eagles pass rush.
The Eagles beat up on the Rams last Sunday and will be looking to gain traction as the favorite in the NFC with a win this week. Let’s see if the Falcons can stop ‘em.
