NFL Power Rankings: 3 Teams That Will Shake Up Standings
Week 1 of NFL football was pretty crazy, right? But we shouldn't base too much off of one week. The rankings below are generally based on what we saw in Week 1, but not exclusively. I'll guarantee that by the end of the year, this week will look a lot different.
Actually, by this time next week, these teams will make it look a lot different.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
After manhandling the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, the Bills open their home schedule against the Raiders.
Now, the Raiders did win their opener but were less than impressive at times. They committed far too many penalties and looked generally sloppy. I would like to know what would have happened if Kyle Orton hadn't fumbled with a wide open receiver.
The Raiders should win this one, but the Bills can make a lot of progress up the Power Rankings with a win here. Given what happened in the openers, this is not at all impossible.
The Bills are still playoff long shots, and that puts it mildly. But a 2-0 start would go a long way in making them contenders.
Carolina Panthers
I guess I should say that I would be surprised if the Panthers beat the Packers. But given what Drew Brees did the the Packers' defense and what Cam Newton did in the opener, it has to be fun for Panthers' fans to think about the future.
Now, the Packers should win this one here and probably convincingly. But the Panthers are a team that can be impressive in a defeat, even a convincing one. Right now, I have them as the second to worst team in the league. The playoffs are still a long shot, but don't expect them to be that low for much longer.
Washington Redskins
It's amazing to think about how much one week can change your perceptions. Yes, it's only one week, but the Redskins showed a lot of progress.
Now, they take on the Cardinals at home in a game that can easily be won. If the Redskins start the season 2-0, it's not outrageous to call them a Wild Card contender.
Conversely, a loss, especially a convincing one, will do a lot to send them down to the bottom part of the league's Power Rankings.
