Another "Dream Match" Possibly Coming Our Way?

This topic has rarely been discussed in the internet world, but there are a few articles about it. In two weeks, the "Dreammatch" will be upon us(Oscar De La Hoya vs Manny Pacquaio). We, the boxing fans know Oscar is the biggest draw when it comes to ppv's.

Also, we, the boxing fans, know that Manny "Pacman" Pacquaio is currently boxing's pound-for-pound king. If Manny Pacquaio can get past Oscar De La Hoya, in my opinion, the second "Dreammatch" would not be Manny Pacquaio vs Ricky Hatton, it would be Manny Pacquaio vs. Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. Here are my reasons why I feel Paquaio vs Mayweather would be the next "Dreammatch".

Before Floyd Mayweather retired, he was boxing's pound-for-pound king. Ever since Floyd Mayweather retired, Manny Pacquaio was crowned boxing's pound-for-pound king. If Floyd came out of retirement to fight Manny, it would determine who is the real pound-for-pound king since Floyd still feels he still is the p4p king.

Here's another reason I feel this would be another "Dreammmatch". Some might not agree with me on this, but alot of money would be made on both sides(Mayweather's and Pacquaio's).

Now we all know Mayweather loves money, right? Just imagine how much Floyd would make off of fighting Pacquaio. Possibly $30-$40 million dollars. Pacquaio would possibly make as much as Floyd.

Plus you have to remember the other things such as PPV buys and ticket prices, they could possibly have a little more in that paycheck. I guarantee you right now, if Mayweather vs Pacquaio were fighting, there would be 1.5-2.0 PPV buys if marketed right.

But there's just one problem though, Floyd Mayweather doesn't really get along with Manny Pacquaio's promoter Bob Arum. Floyd paid Arum $750,000 dollars just to get out of his contract with him. That's a major reason why we never got to see Mayweather vs. Cotto before Cotto fought Margarito. Floyd even said it himself in an espn interview.

If Mayweather vs Pacquaio happens, not only the boxing world, but possibly the whole world would be looking forward to see those two go at each other with the better man winning. Will this dreammatch ever happen? I sure hope it does.
