Arian Foster Injury: Is Houston Texans RB a Safe Week 2 Fantasy Football Start?
Houston Texans running back Arian Foster sat out the team's 34-7 demolition of the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1. In his absence, Ben Tate rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown, and made himself a very viable backup option.
As Foster continues to work his way back from a hamstring injury, it remains unclear when he will finally see action. The NFL's leading rusher in 2010 "worked very hard" on Monday according to head coach Gary Kubiak, but there is no word on whether or not Foster will try to practice on Wednesday.
Kubiak added that Foster would not play in Week 2 if he didn't practice this week. So don't be surprised if he is again listed as "questionable" for Sunday's match up with the Miami Dolphins.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
At this point, it's probably a good idea to count Foster out until we get word that he is 100 percent healthy. Fantasy-wise, you're more concerned with him carrying a full load, not just seeing action.
With the way Tate performed in Week 1, there is no reason for the Texans to bring Foster back quickly. The Texans showed they can still have a solid running game with Tate and Derrick Ward sharing the load, and that gives them the luxury of waiting for Foster to fully recover.
For now, it would probably be best to stash Foster on the bench until you hear that he's fully ready to go. It might be a few weeks until you get full value out of him as your starting back even if he does play.
