Michael Bisping Talks "Mayhem" Miller, Says "Mouth Is Bigger Than His Brain"

Mike HodgesJun 7, 2018

Following his second coaching stint on The Ultimate Fighter, there were plenty of topics for Michael Bisping to talk about, including his upcoming bout with opposing coach Jason "Mayhem" Miller.

Bisping was a recent guest on The MMA Hour and spoke about his experience filming TUF. He said he and Miller had a few confrontations.

Overall, his lasting impression of Miller wasn't anything positive.

"Miller's mouth is bigger than his brain," Bisping said.

"I definitely get the upper hand throughout the entire season. I'm not talking about the fights, I'm just talking about the one-on-one interaction with Miller."

The Englishman has been notorious for engaging in trash-talk with his opponents as of late and has depicted himself as the all-around bad guy in the UFC.

His recent actions toward Jorge Rivera at UFC 127 only increased the negative exposure on Bisping and it is likely fans will continue to loathe him following the upcoming season.

Bisping said he wasn't too thrilled to coach opposite Miller because he said Miller wasn't a credible opponent.

Obviously, Bisping's aspirations are to earn a title shot against Anderson Silva in the near future, and earning a win over Miller wouldn't be enough to convince the UFC to reward him.

Prior to filming, Bisping said his ideal opponent would have been Chael Sonnen.

"I was a little disappointed it wasn't Chael Sonnen," he said.

"I think a lot of fans wanted to see that. But he had his personal problems and it wasn't meant to be."

But after enduring six weeks of taping, Bisping has become more familiar with Miller and is motivated to beat him and earn himself a shot at the UFC middleweight title.

"I think I am next in line. Ideal scenario would be beat Miller, get a title shot, win the world title," he said.
