First up on the sofa was Cardiff’s Joe Ledley who talked about fracturing his finger last weekend against Crystal Palace but scoring moments later. Sadly the midfielder came across quite wooden and boring.

Injecting a bit more life was British TV legend, magician Paul Daniels. Paul spoke about his upcoming panto in which Debbie McGee will be holding “her own wand instead of mine,” before talk turned to Wizzbit, ending with a classic card trick sprinkled with a large helping of jokes.

A bumper selection of guests was continued with Phillip Rhys plugging his the new TV show Survivor, and ending with British boxer David Haye oozing with confidence after his win last week against Monte Barrett, which began with his challenger trying to jump into the ring but clipping the top rope on entry and falling over (watch here).

Soccer AM then saw if Razor Ruddock could pull off being a football reporter, interviewing Newcastle boss Joe Kinnear.

There was a very funny appearance from the “Mackem Mover,” a plump, middle-aged Sunderland fan who dances, who showed off all his moves in a one minute solo set before agreeing to come back on the show and have a Tyne-Wear dance off.
